Ten Years Later — I Still Don't Trade on My Birthday
Ten years ago today I wrote a short blog post called “28th September – don’t trade on your birthday!”
The principle was pretty simple. If you've built yourself a life where you have some control over your time, why spend your birthday sitting in front of the screens?
Go and enjoy the day, spend it with people who matter to you, take stock of the year you've just had and think about what you want from the next one.
Ten years later, I'm still following my own advice. So there'll be no Monday Market Update today.
