The London Traders’ Network was started by Paul Wallace  in Mar 2009 as a means of keeping in touch with other trading buddies in a social environment. Over the last 10 years the group has grown from 5 or 6 friends to now over 2600 members.

The London Traders' Network run a series of free social events whereby traders of all levels of experience can get out from behind their screens and meet other like-minded individuals for a beer and a chat about trading and the financial markets. Trading can be a lonesome endeavour so it's all about being able to indulge in some guilt-free geeky trader chat with individuals who understand your journey and can usually offer some sage personal advice.

What started out as a few friends meeting for a beer and a curry whilst discussing their trading experiences has now grown into a group of whereby 60-100 people attend our social events. It doesn’t matter if you’ve traded for 2 weeks or 2 decades, all are welcome. The beer-call is just that. A chance for you to get out from behind your screens and come for a beer and a chat about trading. It's not for selling anything - its a beer-call by traders, for traders. That's it - pure and simple. This is a social event - it's not a commercial event - there's no up-sell or introductions to brokers or education companies. It's a get together for traders, by traders.

We now have a sister group for traders in Ireland called the Dublin Traders Meetup which meets every few months for some sociable interaction between traders.

For those wanting to learn more we, on occasion, will run training or advanced meet-up events. However the majority of our time will be spent socialising with old friends and making new ones.

We look forward to meeting you
