Hello Traders,
Thanks to those of you who joined us today. I should reiterate that the Monday Market Update is just that. A big picture overview of the markets, with a few 'charts of interest' thrown in. There are no trade recommendations, this is not a signal service - just what I am looking at and interested in.
Today we looked at; FX STAM, Jefferies Financial Group ($JEF), BlackRock Inc ($BLK), Wells Fargo & Company ($WFC), and Financial Services Sector ETF ($XLF).

The Monday Market Update for October 13, 2025, discussed market movements and trends. The Swiss franc and Euro remained strong, while Sterling moved up to third place due to weakness in the Japanese Yen and Aussie Dollar. Trump's tariff threats caused market volatility, with his calming tweets last night leading to a relief rally into the open. Key indices showed mixed signals, with the Dow and S&P 500 entering a tactical short environment. Oil remained bearish, and the US government shutdown added uncertainty. Upcoming UK data and US Q3 financial earnings, including BlackRock and Wells Fargo, were highlighted as key watch points. Bitcoin's recent performance and the US dollar's strength against major currencies were also noted
We also covered the usual suspects: $DJIA, $NDX, $SPY, $RTY, $DAX, $FTSE, $N225, $WTI, $XAUUSD, $XAGUSD, $BTCUSD, $USD, $DXY, $JPY, $AUD, $CHF, $NZD and $GBP.
Have a great trading week. We return next week at 1230.
Trade well,
Paul
